The second running of the four-day "All in Print China" exhibition is scheduled to get underway on 14 June at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The event is sponsored in part by Messe Duesseldorf China, a branch of the same organization that conducts the quadrennial technology marathon known as drupa.
Mitsubishi and MLP Hong Kong will be joining the more than 550 exhibitors expected to participate in this exhibition. Six halls at the SNIEC will be used for the show, providing a gross exhibition area of 69,000 square meters for welcoming the anticipated 50,000 visitors arriving from Japan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia, along with attendees from China.
The Mitsubishi concept of "Contributions for your Success" will be applied to illustrate the means for realizing high-value added printing and for differentiating from competitive products. The realization of high-value added printing involves making full use of various new printing materials and, most importantly, the use of these materials on a press capable of delivering consistently stable and reliable output.
On the Mitsubishi/MLP stand, a four-color DIAMOND 3000LS press of standard specifications will be printing with newly developed ink from Toyo Ink Manufacturing Company. This soybased ink, known as "Kaleido Toyo King Hy-Unity," achieves a level of printing quality that is impossible to attain through conventional inks. Equally impressive, "Kaleido" expands the color gamut to provide a closer color representation of Adobe RGB, and thereby realizes a better color matching of the image printed on the four-color press to the image displayed on an RGB monitor.

In addition to highlighting the outstanding basic performance of Mitsubishi's straight four-color sheet-fed offset press, daily demonstrations will also include recent interviews conducted with Mitsubishi's press users in Europe. The focus here will be on the excellent reputations these press users have earned in the area of high-value added printing achieved using a variety of different Mitsubishi presses such as the DIAMOND 3000TP Tandem Perfector, DIAMOND 3000R Convertible Perfector, and high-specification large format straight sheet-fed presses.
With an area of 504 square meters, the Mitsubishi/MLP stand at All in Print China will be among the largest in terms of exhibition space. The stand will be located in the Number 2 Hall of the SNIEC's West Wing, and Mitsubishi together with MLP Hong Kong are looking forward to welcoming the many visitors expected to attend this year's show in Shanghai. |
